Second-Best April Ever for Solar PV
April marked a remarkable month for solar photovoltaic (PV) installations, achieving the second-highest April figures on record. A total of 14,075 solar PV systems were installed, showcasing the growing adoption of solar energy solutions across the country.

Third-Best Month Ever for Heat Pumps
Heat pump installations also saw impressive numbers, with April recording the third-best month ever in this sector. A total of 4,519 heat pumps were installed, reflecting the increasing shift towards sustainable heating solutions.

Best Month Ever for Battery Storage
The battery storage sector experienced unprecedented growth in April, setting a new record for the highest number of installations in a single month. There were 1,374 battery storage systems installed, highlighting the rising demand for energy storage solutions to complement renewable energy sources.

Best Month of 2024 So Far
Overall, April was the standout month of 2024 for renewable energy installations, with a combined total of 18,621 installations across solar PV, heat pumps, and battery storage. This impressive performance underscores the accelerating momentum in the renewable energy industry as more households and businesses transition to sustainable energy solutions.
